Job Title: Corporate Tax Manager

Location: Hybrid (2 days on site in Coventry)

Annual Salary: Up to 60,000 per annum

We're hiring a Corporate Tax Manager to join a dynamic and fast-paced Group Tax team within a major UK-based organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a complex environment where your expertise will directly support strategic decision-making across the business.

The Role

As the Corporate Tax Manager, you will report to the Senior Tax Manager and play a crucial role in fulfilling the corporate tax compliance obligations for the organization. You'll be at the forefront of identifying opportunities for process enhancement and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tax compliance work, including the preparation of UK corporate tax returns and managing corporate tax payments.
• Handle claims and elections for UK entities within the group.
• Complete tax reporting under UK GAAP for statutory accounts.
• Manage monthly/quarterly tax accounting and reporting for group purposes.
• Support the senior accounting officer sign-off process.
• Assist with tax advisory special assignments on an ad hoc basis.
• Stay technically updated using resources like online publications.
• Challenge existing practices and drive improvements in reporting processes.

Key Skills and experience

• ACA / ACCA and/or CTA qualified
• Experienced in corporate tax
• Skilled in tax accounting
• Ideally trained in a Big 4 environment (preferred but not essential).
• A strong communicator with excellent organisational skills.
• Familiar with OneSource Corporate Tax software (advantageous).
