Meraki Talent Ltd in the UK is supporting a leading accountancy firm in appointing a Corporate Tax Director. The role can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow, or a blended mix between the two offices, offering a strategic leadership position within a modern firm.

You will manage a substantial client portfolio, lead tax planning and advisory projects, and coach junior staff while delivering exceptional client service across diverse sectors. CTA/ACCA/ICAS qualified candidates are preferred.

Formación

• Ability to manage a substantial client portfolio profitably and develop new opportunities.
• In-depth knowledge of taxation with ability to handle complex tax issues.
• CTA, ACCA, ICAS qualified or equivalent.
• Project and staff management experience.
• Experience dealing with client senior management and Partners.

Responsabilidades

• Stakeholder in the delivery of the Tax strategic framework with involvement in tax planning and complex tax issues in conjunction with Partners & Directors
• Update Partners on any new business opportunities arising from existing or new clients
• Develop a network of contacts internally and externally allowing you to begin bringing on board your own client base, whilst unearthing opportunities to cross sell across the multiple disciplines within the firm
• Responsibility for review and delivery of the final advice to clients
• Liaise promptly and efficiently to client requests and needs, and update clients on progress in relation to all aspects of the service provided whilst maintaining regular contact throughout
• Responsibility for the coaching and development of junior staff members
