Job summary

Michael Page in Exeter is recruiting a Corporate Tax Director to lead the firm’s corporate tax compliance and advisory work for a diverse client base. Based out of Exeter, you will drive delivery, client service, and strategic growth of the tax practice.

You will be ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified with a career path towards Associate Director or Corporate Tax Director, bringing a strong corporate tax background from practice or in-house.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified.
• Career to Associate Director/Corporate Tax Director level with tax-focused background.
• Experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory within accountancy practice or in-house settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver wide-ranging corporate tax compliance and advisory projects for clients.
• Lead and grow the corporate tax service line and develop the tax team.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic growth of the tax department.

Description

Joining as Corporate Tax Director, based out of the firms Exeter offices you will take on the full management and delivery of wide ranging complex corporate tax compliance and advisory project work to the firms clients delivering a wide range of corporate tax solutions . You will also take a lead in growing the firms corporate tax service line offering, developing the wider tax team and look to work with the firms wider leaderships team on the further growth of their tax department, carving a key role within the firm with associated progression on offer.

Profile

You will be any of ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified and you will have developed your career to close to, or at the Associate Director / Corporate Tax Director levels with a corporate tax focused career background having been developed within either a mix of in house and/or, entirely accountancy practice focused firm background. You will be looking for a career move with excellent career development and progression potential, within a leading and growing chartered accountancy practice.

Job Offer

Circa £80,000 - £120,000 dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
