Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking a senior corporate tax professional to lead client engagements, review tax computations, and contribute to our tax assurance offering. You will build relationships with mid-sized clients and mentor a growing team.

The role requires ATT or an equivalent qualification, broad tax knowledge, and experience managing budgets and fees. A collaborative, growth-focused environment awaits in Leeds.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience of working with a portfolio of clients to deliver annual corporate tax reporting.
• Broad and strong technical tax knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Experience of budgeting, fee negotiation and managing client financials.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and approving corporation tax computations and tax accounting, plus undertakings of tax assurance reviews.
• Building client relationships with our portfolio of mid-sized businesses.
• Managing and mentoring an enthusiastic team through to managers, and supporting the CT reporting offering.
• Negotiating and raising fees and being responsible for WIP management on your portfolio of clients.
• Proactively discussing tax opportunities with clients and coordinating with tax partners to deliver on such work.

We provide bespoke advice in all areas of taxation, helpingourclientsto navigate thecomplexitiesoftaxcodes, often in multiple areas of sectorjurisdictions, and tohelpthem ensure they are fulfilling all theirobligationsand paying the correct amount oftax. In this way wehelpthem to manage an area ofsignificantfinancial andreputationalrisk and to make properly informeddecisionsabout theirtaxposition whether they are anindividual, abusinessowner or a corporateorganisation. We alsohelpclientsresolve any disputes they havewiththetaxauthoritiesas swiftly as possible.

About the role

What are we looking for?
