Job summary

Crowe Watson Recruitment is partnering with a leading Chartered Accountants firm in Edinburgh to recruit a Corporate Tax Associate Director for their advisory team, offering flexible working and a strong pension. You will work closely with Partners and Directors on complex advisory assignments for a varied portfolio of corporate clients.

Qualifications

• CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) required.
• Strong technical background in Corporate Tax advisory.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

This role would suit a technically strong Corporate Tax specialist who is ready to move into a senior leadership position, working closely with Partners and Directors on complex advisory assignments for a varied portfolio of corporate clients.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver corporate tax advisory services across a diverse portfolio of clients
• Lead on complex tax planning projects and technical advisory work
• Support business development and identify new client opportunities
• Manage, mentor and develop junior members of the tax team
• Build and maintain strong client relationships at a senior level

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong technical background in Corporate Tax advisory
• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
• Proven experience managing and developing junior staff
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build client relationships
