At Grant Thornton we do things differently - looking to the future, driving ambitious growth and pioneering positive change in our industry. Providing audit, tax and advisory services, we empower clients through strategic insight, curiosity and genuine partnership. And we empower our people with real opportunity, an inclusive culture and work life balance. A true alternative.
With over 5,000 people in the UK and a presence in 150 global markets we are on an ambitious journey from great to exceptional and we need the best people to help us achieve our potential. The opportunity to help redefine what our industry looks like and what you want from your career is here.
Every day our teams help people in businesses and communities to do what is right and achieve their goals. In Not-for-Profit Tax we pride ourselves on helping our clients achieve their strategic aims whilst maximising the tax exemptions available to them.
We work with a diverse range of organisations: University Groups, Social Housing Groups, Registered Charities, Mutual Traders, Local Authorities and Local Authority Trading Companies, providing tax structuring, tax compliance and tax due diligence advice. The advice supports these organisations, representing some of the less privileged in society, to grow and deliver valuable services for the communities they represent.
Given our large Social Housing and Local Authority client base, a large amount of our work is focused on real estate transactions: tax structuring on collaborative regeneration projects, mixed tenure development schemes, student housing and acquisitions/disposals arising from estate management projects. We advise on Capital Gains and Corporate Tax, working closely with colleagues in Stamp Taxes and VAT to ensure a holistic tax advice approach.
We are happy to talk flexible working, consider reduced hours and job shares and support you to balance your work and life.
