Job summary

Pro-Tax in Nottingham is recruiting a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to deliver a balanced mix of compliance and advisory work. You will lead on corporate tax projects, support reorganisations, acquisitions and due diligence, and develop strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates have ATT/CTA/ACA, around 3+ years of corporate tax experience, and are eager to take on more responsibility in a growing national team.

Qualifications

• ATT, CTA and/or ACA qualification.
• Around 3+ years' experience in a corporate tax role.
• Exposure to advisory work alongside compliance.
• Good knowledge of corporate tax and tax accounting basics.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.
• Confidence dealing directly with clients.
• Alphatax experience helpful, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivering corporate tax compliance and advisory projects.
• Supporting on reorganisations, acquisitions, disposals and demergers.
• Assisting with tax due diligence and structuring work.
• Working across areas such as loss relief, group relief and tax accounting.
• Preparing and reviewing corporate and deferred tax calculations.
• Building client relationships and liaising directly with intermediaries.
• Identifying opportunities across other tax service lines.
• Supporting and developing junior team members.

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £40,000-£52,000 + great benefits
