Job summary

Fusion People Ltd. is seeking a Corporate Tax Assistant in Aberdeen to support UK corporation tax returns and related activities. The role offers structured training, ATT study support and exposure to UK and international tax work, within a collaborative tax team, with clear career progression in a permanent capacity.

You will gain hands-on experience across tax compliance and reporting, while developing technical knowledge and professional skills in a busy finance environment.

Qualifications

• Accounting, finance, or tax experience (or relevant qualification)
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
• Eagerness to learn and develop within a tax environment

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of UK corporation tax returns and computations
• Assist with direct and indirect tax compliance and reporting activities
• Support overseas tax reporting and administration processes and maintain accurate tax records
• Assist with tax-related queries from internal and external stakeholders
• Support the use of tax and finance systems and contribute to process improvements

Job Title: Corporate Tax Assistant

Location: Aberdeen

Duration: Permanent

Salary: 27,500 - 30,500 per annum

An excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in corporate tax. Working within a busy tax team, you will support direct and indirect tax compliance activities, assist with corporation tax returns and computations, and contribute to a range of tax administration and reporting processes.

You will work closely with finance and tax stakeholders, gaining exposure to UK and international tax activities while developing your technical knowledge and professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of UK corporation tax returns and computations
• Assist with direct and indirect tax compliance and reporting activities
