Job summary

TC Group in Lewes is seeking a Corporate Tax Advisor to join our expanding Corporation Tax team in a hybrid role. You will manage a portfolio of corporate clients, specialising in tax compliance, computations and advisory work within a supportive practice environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in practice, ACA/CTA progress or completion, and strong communication and organisational skills. Hybrid working is offered following probation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience within a practice background.
• ACA or CTA qualified or working towards.
• Sound knowledge of corporate tax.
• Experience with accountancy systems such as CCH, Xero, Sage.
• Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Office.
• Must be an efficient and personable communicator.
• Driven and ambitious.
• Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Tax compliance for a portfolio of clients ranging from small companies to groups.
• Dealing with corporation tax computations and returns.
• Preparation of tax provisions including deferred tax, proof of tax and tax accounts for audits etc.
• Supporting our corporate finance team with tax advice.
• Providing support and mentoring to trainees and placement students.
