This permanent Corporate Solicitor - Leadership Opportunity in Gloucestershire offers a rare chance to build and lead a corporate department within a long-established, multi-site law firm entering a new chapter after a management buyout. Backed by an ambitious director team, significant investment and strong client relationships, the post holder will take ownership of the corporate offering rather than maintain an existing team. Hybrid and flexible working arrangements are available. Suitable candidates will be experienced corporate solicitors with the commercial acumen and initiative to develop workstreams, manage client relationships and shape strategy. The salary is £80,000 to £100,000 per annum, dependent on experience. The Opportunity:

You’ll work closely with the firm''s leadership team to develop and grow the Corporate practice, building on an established client base and strong reputation across the region. The role offers genuine scope to: Shape the strategic direction of the Corporate department Build and develop a team over time (if desired) Develop new and existing client relationships Take ownership of high-quality Corporate matters Help influence the wider direction and future growth of the firm Progress towards a Director-level position. The work includes: Mergers andamp; Acquisitions Shareholder Agreements Business Sales andamp; Purchases Corporate Restructuring Joint Ventures Commercial Contracts General Corporate Advisory work.
