Job summary

Nelsons, part of Lawfront Group, is seeking a commercially astute Corporate Solicitor to join the growing Corporate team in Leicester. The role suits an Associate with around 0 to 3 years’ PQE, or experienced candidates who can demonstrate the required skills.

You will advise on a wide range of corporate matters for a diverse client base, including SMEs, investors and larger corporates, and play a key role in building the firm’s corporate offering.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating corporate documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communicator with ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Commercial awareness and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Advise on mergers, acquisitions and disposals of companies, shares and assets.
• Manage corporate transactions from instruction to completion.
• Conduct due diligence and prepare due diligence reports.
• Draft and negotiate share and asset purchase agreements and related documents.
• Assist with transaction structuring and strategic planning.
• Advise on governance, shareholder agreements and constitutional documents.
• Support directors and owners on risk management and succession planning.
