Are you a qualified solicitor eager to advance your corporate law career in a dynamic, collaborative environment?

Our client, a respected and expanding law firm, is seeking two Corporate Solicitors (1–3 years’ PQE) to join their Cambridge office. This is your chance to work on high-value, complex transactions with a supportive team, clear career progression, and a strong focus on professional development.

The Role: Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on complex corporate transactions including investments, acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and restructurings
  • Support partners and senior fee earners across the firmwide Corporate Team
  • Manage disclosure and due diligence exercises, deal datarooms, and transaction documentation
  • Draft, review, and execute legal documents (SPA, APA, Investment Agreements, ancillary documents)
  • Prepare transaction bibles and coordinate completion logistics
  • Undertake research projects using knowhow resources
  • Engage directly with clients, demonstrating strong interpersonal and commercial awareness
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 1–3 years’ PQE in corporate mergers and acquisitions
  • Proven experience supporting senior lawyers on a range of corporate matters
  • Technical proficiency in transaction management, disclosure, due diligence, and document drafting
  • Up-to-date knowledge of corporate law and recent developments
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Experience in private equity, venture capital, capital markets, or reorganisations is advantageous but not essential
