Corporate Services Executive Officer
Location: Belfast
Salary: £30,559 - £31,537 per annum
Contract: Interim (4-6 months)
Working Arrangement: Fully office-based

About the Role

An immediate interim opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Services Executive Officer to join a busy public sector organisation in Belfast. This role plays a vital part in supporting the delivery of key corporate functions including finance, IT, procurement, health & safety, facilities, and information governance. Reporting to the Finance & Corporate Services Manager, the successful postholder will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of office services, premises management, and corporate compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support across corporate services including finance, IT, procurement, and facilities.
  • Complete financial assurance checks, raise purchase orders, and process invoices.
  • Act as premises and health & safety officer, ensuring compliance and upkeep of the office environment.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and landlords to coordinate maintenance and property-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records for assets, contracts, and information governance.
  • Support induction and onboarding processes for new staff.
  • Contribute to business continuity planning, policy updates, and corporate projects.
Essential Criteria

Applicants must have at least three years' recent experience in the following areas:

  • Providing administrative support within an office environment.
  • Managing multiple priorities and working under pressure.
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Using Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel) to extract and present data.
  • Managing health & safety matters in an office environment.
  • Supporting staff to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience in facilities management or finance systems.
  • Experience in the public sector.
  • Experience drafting briefing papers, reports, or policy documents.
  • A qualification in Health & Safety.
