Qualifications

• A valid SIA Security Guard licence or SIA Door Supervisor licence is required.
• Must be able to provide a five-year history for BS 7858 screening including employment and gaps.
• Must provide information/documents for screening process.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, attentive and dependable approach.
• Confident dealing calmly with visitors and challenging situations.
• Good written skills for logs and reports.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Previous corporate/office/security experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor building access and follow site entry procedures.
• Welcome visitors and contractors, checking identification and confirming appointments.
• Keep accurate visitor, incident and handover records.
• Carry out internal and external patrols as directed.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms and security concerns, following site procedures.
• Report suspicious activity, safety hazards and maintenance issues.
• Support emergency procedures and communicate with relevant teams.
• Monitor CCTV or security systems where applicable.
• Maintain a smart, professional presence throughout your shift.
