Mitie Group plc. is seeking a vigilant Corporate Security Officer to safeguard people, property and assets.

You will manage front-of-house duties, monitor access control and CCTV, conduct routine patrols, and ensure all site protocols are flawlessly executed to maintain our high service standards. Key requirements include a valid front-line SIA licence, excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, IT literacy, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Valid front-line SIA licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) is essential and must be worn on duty.
• Licences must be renewed at least 16 weeks prior to expiry.
• Previous corporate security experience is a plus, though we welcome ambitious candidates.
• Excellent customer service, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver security services in compliance with site AIs, UK legislation, and company policies.
• Manage reception, visitor logs, issue keys and passes, and oversee goods-inward areas.
• Utilize CCTV and access control systems to maintain site security.
• Identify hazards, manage incidents, and coordinate timely responses.
• Complete mandatory competency training and maintain an active SIA licence.

Job description

We are looking for a vigilant and professional Corporate Security Officer to safeguard our client's people, property, and assets. You will act as the face of the operation-managing front-of-house duties, monitoring access control and CCTV, conducting routine patrols, and ensuring all site protocols are flawlessly executed to maintain our high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations: Deliver exceptional security services in strict compliance with site Assignment Instructions (AIs), UK legislation, and company policies.
• Front-of-House & Access Control: Manage reception, handle visitor logs (from contractors to corporate personnel), issue keys and passes, and oversee goods-inward areas.
• Technology & Monitoring: Utilize MS Office, CCTV, and access control systems to maintain site security.
• Health, Safety & Incident Response: Proactively identify hazards, manage challenging situations with professionalism, maintain accurate incident logs, and execute timely check-calls and emergency responses.
• Continuous Development: Complete mandatory competency training and engage in ongoing professional growth.
