About the Company

ESI serves over 361 post‑acute care operations across 17 states, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and other ancillary service providers. These operations have no corporate headquarters or traditional management hierarchy. Instead, they operate independently with support from the “Service Center,” a world‑class service team that provides centralized legal, human resource, training, accounting, information technology and other resources necessary to allow on‑site leaders and caregivers to focus on day‑to‑day care and business issues in their operations.

About the Opportunity

We’re seeking a professional Recruiter to join our Human Resources team and help us attract top talent across all levels from entry‑level to senior positions. This role offers the opportunity to shape recruitment strategies, build strong pipelines, and work closely with hiring managers and leadership to support the company’s growth and culture. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, hiring managers, HR partners and external organizations.
  • Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to understand workforce needs, define position requirements, and develop effective sourcing and recruiting strategies.
  • Conduct manager training on best practices and recruiting systems.
  • Build and manage talent pipelines through outreach to universities, local colleges, and community organizations.
  • Conduct phone screens and initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications, fit, and interest.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed candidate overviews and summaries to hiring managers to support informed decision‑making.
  • Manage the full‑cycle recruiting process from job posting, pre‑boarding, ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Conduct new‑hire orientation.
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics such as time‑to‑fill and source effectiveness.
  • Stay current on labor and market trends, competitive intelligence, compliance regulations and best practices in recruiting.
  • Other duties/tasks as assigned.
Professional Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree and/or human resources professional certification.
  • Must have at least three years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Experience filling roles from entry‑level to leader positions.
  • Expertise in direct sourcing, social media recruiting.
  • Proficient in applicant tracking systems (Paycor & Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience partnering with leaders and stakeholders at multiple levels across an organization.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal posting requirements and employment law as it relates to recruiting.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to influence and advise hiring managers.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dynamic presenter and trainer.
  • Positively interacts with any level employee.
  • Ability to confidential matters.
  • Able to prioritize, plan, and handle multiple tasks/demands simultaneously.
