Job summary

Vasto Legal Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Corporate Private Equity Associate for an international law firm in Bristol. The role targets mid-level associates with 3-6 PQE to work on cross-border private equity transactions from the Bristol office, focusing on London and international matters.

The team handles buyouts, growth capital, exits, and bolt-ons across the UK and Europe, collaborating with sponsors, portfolio companies and management teams.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years’ post-qualified experience in private equity at a leading City, national or international law firm.
• Experience acting for sponsors, management teams or portfolio companies on private equity transactions.
• Exposure to cross-border, growth capital or special situations deals would be an advantage.
• Strong drafting skills and the ability to manage workstreams on complex, multi-party transactions.

Responsibilities

• Advise on private equity transactions including buyouts, investments, exits and bolt-ons.
• Collaborate with sponsors, portfolio companies and management teams on complex deals.
• Handle cross-border deals with partners in London and Europe.

Corporate Private Equity Associate (3-6 PQE)

We are working with an international law firm on a position within their well-regarded Corporate Private Equity team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level associate to join a high-calibre team working on complex, cross-border transactions, working exclusively on London and international matters from the Bristol office.

The team advises private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, management teams and vendors on mid-cap and large-cap transactions across the UK and Europe. Work spans buyouts, investments, exits and bolt-on acquisitions, as well as growth and venture capital investments and special situations deals, working closely with the firm’s international Private Equity group and specialists in tax, finance and regulatory.

This position would suit a candidate with:

• 3-6 years’ post-qualified experience in private equityat a leading City, national or international law firm
• Experience acting for sponsors, management teams or portfolio companies on private equity transactions
• Exposure to cross-border, growth capital or special situations deals would be an advantage
• Strong drafting skills and the ability to manage workstreams on complex, multi-party transactions
