Corporate Consultant – Interim Solicitor

Location: Remote working, with no office or client attendance required

Office Location: Central London

Hourly Pay: ~£200 / hour DOE

Contract Type: Interim / Consultancy Basis

About the Firm

Our client is a leading boutique law firm renowned for its discretion, technical excellence, and exceptional client service. They are now seeking an experienced Corporate Consultant Solicitor to assist one of their key clients with the sale of a business. This is with the view to pick up ad hoc Corporate Commercial work thereafter.

The Role

You will provide interim support to the firm’s client, focusing on managing and executing the legal aspects of a business sale transaction. This will include:

  • Advising on and drafting sale and purchase documentation (SPAs, disclosure letters, ancillary agreements, etc.)
  • Conducting and managing due diligence processes
  • Liaising with clients, accountants, and external advisers
  • Assisting in negotiations and transaction management to ensure a smooth and efficient completion

This role is designed for a senior, commercially minded solicitor who can confidently manage a transaction end-to-end while integrating seamlessly with the firm’s existing team and culture.

About You
  • UK-qualified solicitor with significant experience in corporate M&A / business sale transactions
  • Proven track record in handling SME and mid-market deals independently
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with meticulous attention to detail
  • Able to operate autonomously and flexibly in a consultancy capacity
  • Able to start before Christmas, or ASAP.
