A leading consultancy firm in Birmingham seeks a Corporate Health and Safety Manager to develop and maintain health and safety policies. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with legislation and provide guidance on health and safety matters. Qualifications include experience in quality management and a Chartered membership with IOSH. The role involves travel and offers the chance to mentor junior staff in health & safety duties.
We are seeking a high calibre professional Corporate Health and Safety Manager to review, develop and maintain existing health and safety policies and procedures, which comply with new and existing legislation to ensure that all relevant health and safety legal requirements are complied with throughout Rider Levett Bucknall. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team of internal professionals who pride themselves on providing outstanding corporate QSHE guidance and advice. Candidates with experience in quality management are encouraged to apply, as this is an area of growth in the team. There is the potential to mentor a graduate who will be available to assist with relevant H&S duties 1 day per week. The successful candidate will work closely with the professional consultants and undertake regular audits of all services provided to external clients on construction projects. Reporting to the Compliance Partner, duties will include (but not limited to):
The candidate must be flexible and willing to travel and stay away from home if required. They must also hold a full UK Driving Licence. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high levels of customer service excellence with good commercial awareness. Chartered Member of IOSH
