Job summary

ENL Legal Recruitment is seeking a Corporate Finance Solicitor for a leading regional law firm in Stoke-on-Trent. You will handle a broad range of corporate finance matters for businesses, lenders and investors, including acquisition finance, corporate lending, investment transactions, and MBIs/MBOs, within a commercially focused team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' PQE, strong client relationship skills, and the ability to manage a caseload while working with colleagues.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will ideally have at least 3 years' PQE and solid experience in corporate finance within a recognised commercial law team.
• You will be commercially minded, technically strong and confident dealing directly with clients.
• The ability to manage your own caseload while working collaboratively as part of a wider team will be essential.

The Role

You will work on a broad range of corporate finance matters, advising businesses, lenders and investors on transactions including:

• Acquisition and development finance;


• Corporate lending and refinancing;


• Investment and private equity transactions;


• Share and asset acquisitions and disposals;


• MBOs and MBIs;


• Security and associated finance documentation; and


• General corporate and commercial matters.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced lawyers on significant transactions, whilst developing strong relationships with a diverse client base ranging from owner-managed businesses and SMEs through to larger regional and national organisations.
