Overview

Corporate Finance Senior Associate
7+ years PQE - London

We are currently looking to recruit a talented corporate lawyer to join the London Corporate Finance team, ideally a candidate with at least 7 years PQE experience in equity capital markets deals and with some public M&A experience.

The Team

Capable of handling high-value, cross-border transactions, Pinsent Masons LLP is regularly instructed by an impressive roster of clients covering a wide range of sectors. Edward Stead heads the national corporate practice and is supported by 16 partners and legal directors in the London team, with specialists in M&A, corporate finance, private equity, equity capital markets and corporate governance.

The Corporate Finance (CF) practice is a significant part of the firm\'s international Corporate practice and has been identified by the Firm as a key area for investment as it continues to enhance its reputation in the City of London.

At Pinsent Masons, CF work is broadly interpreted as doing corporate work for listed companies and investment banks and other intermediaries active in the public markets. Examples would include advising on IPOs, secondary fundraisings, takeovers and providing day-to-day advice to the boards of our listed clients on the application of relevant regulatory regime, including the Listing Rules, the AIM Rules, and MAR.

The Candidate Required

The successful candidate will ideally have gained experience in a City firm. Candidates must be technically excellent but equally important, commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development. They will be a team player with a strong, client focussed approach. They will also have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills.
