A leading UK water company is seeking a Corporate Facilities Project Engineer to manage and deliver various construction projects across its facilities. This role requires strong experience in construction management and project delivery, along with the ability to scope projects independently and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. As a Corporate Facilities Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of projects on Thames Water buildings. This includes infrastructure/refurbishment, hard and soft facilities (Corporate), structural projects (Lifecycle) and the delivery of facilities for staff (Welfare), on our huge range of buildings, which include Listed buildings and those of operational importance.
You manage a portfolio of projects ranging from approximately £30,000 to £2,000,000, from scoping the projects from scratch to completion, including reporting throughout and managing the handover. This is a perfect job if you are looking for more of a work-life balance. You will join a highly collaborative and supportive team and will be expected to travel across the Thames Valley and/or the London Region. This is a Hybrid role based in Reading, and you will be required to visit large strategic sites, including Oxford, Reading and Swindon.
