Job description

About Dwelly

Dwelly is building the AI operating system for residential lettings. Its growing network of agencies provides its AI with real-world data, continuous feedback, and control over complete workflows, making exceptional service the standard for landlords and tenants. Today, Dwelly operates more than 15,000 properties and $470 million in GMV, making it one of the UK’s ten largest lettings operators. The company has raised $263 million.

We’re a fast-growing, product-focused company, backed by top-tier investors and led by a team with deep experience in real estate, technology, and operations.

Position summary

We’re looking for an Corporate Development Manager. You’ll sit at the heart of Dwelly’s growth engine, supporting both acquisitions and fundraising. We’re a high-velocity roll-up, running multiple deals at once and supporting fundraising in parallel - so you’ll have a steep learning curve with real ownership. This isn’t corporate M&A: we bring a startup mindset, iterate constantly, and give people room to shape the process. You’ll own the analytical heavy lifting across deals and fundraising, pressure-test investment cases, and help build our equity story, working closely with the Head of Corp Dev, Head of M&A, and the Founders.

This is a high-impact role with a front-row seat to building one of the UK’s most ambitious proptech platforms.

Key responsibilities
1. Power the acquisition engine
  • You’ll own the analytical workstream on each deal end-to‑end, from first assessment of strategic fit through diligence and approval. You’ll keep the "does this help us scale in the right way?" question front and centre, helping us stay focused on the right opportunities and building repeatable analytical approaches that let us scale deal volume without reducing quality.
2. Build the investment case
  • You’ll bring together the financial analysis, diligence findings, and commercial context behind each deal to form a clear investment view. Your role is to help us understand what we’re buying, what drives value, where the risks sit, and whether a deal should progress - then translate that into concise recommendations and clear handover points for integration.
3. Fundraising & investor readiness
  • Alongside deals, you’ll support fundraising: prepping for investor meetings, owning models / analysis, and helping to sharpen how we tell the story of Dwelly - what we’re building, why we’ll win, and how capital accelerates growth
Qualifications and preferred background
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Higher degree education from top-tier university.
  • Startup mentality: resilience, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Customer-centric mindset: focus on delivering value to end‑users or clients.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills - ability to approach challenges logically and propose practical solutions.
  • Experience in investment banking (M&A), strategy consulting (CDD/transactions), PE / investing / family offices, or corporate development in a high‑growth environment.
  • Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills (comfortable building models from scratch and stress‑testing assumptions).
  • Strong commercial judgement and curiosity - you naturally ask "what really drives value here?"
  • Highly organised, able to run multiple workstreams and deliver to tight deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive salary with the potential for equity options based on performance, recognising exceptional contributions to our integration success.
What is it like being a Dwell-er?

Feel free to check out Dwelly Core Principles. That’s about what we believe in, how we operate and make decisions.

What we offer is not a fancy office or a static workplace. Instead, this is solving one of worlds’ most complex problems in the largest consumer industry in the world (residential rentals), to improve the experience for >30% of households (>5M in the UK, and >100M including EU and US) that live in rental homes.

This is about disrupting the largest, most antiquated industry in the world, with one of the strongest operational and technical teams that exist in the UK and the EU. We work hard, and we shoot for extremely ambitious results. But we want people to be proud of what they’ve built and be able to look back and say one day "hell yeah, that was me that did it all".

  • Customer obsession rather than competitive focus
  • Passion for invention
  • Operational excellence
  • Long‑term thinking
