Job summary

Goodman Masson is partnering with a growing PE-backed logistics business to recruit a Finance leader who will take full ownership of the Group function. You will report to the Finance Director and build a small but growing team, driving improvements in financial reporting and processes.

Responsibilities include closing the group month-end, ensuring accounts align with policies, preparing statutory statements, and supporting on M&A activity while partnering with FP&A and senior leadership to

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ ACCA or equivalent to be considered for the role, with ideally 5 years PQE experience.
• Strong audit background and experience working within a group function would be beneficial.
• Experience working with multi-entity group consolidation and having managed a small team is beneficial.
• Experience working in a PE backed business would be beneficial.

Job description

I am exclusively partnering with a PE backed Logistics business which is growing due to some significant funding from a new PE firm. This is a newly created role and one where you will have a broad remit and a small, growing team to lead.

For this role you will report into the Finance Director and have the autonomy to take full ownership of the function making improvements and grow the team.
