The Company

A leading UK provider of workplace solutions with a turnover of £177 million, supplying large corporate clients with a broad range of products including office supplies, cleaning & hygiene, PPE, workwear, furniture, and technology. With in-house logistics and warehousing, the business offers a full end-to-end service and continues to expand into new categories. Our client is a market leader in their space and has cultivated a strong brand & reputation within their industry.

The Role

As a Corporate Business Development Manager, your core responsibility will be to win new business by targeting large corporate organisations and building relationships with senior stakeholders such as C-suite, HR Directors, Category Directors and Buyers. The role centres on promoting a consolidated supply model that simplifies procurement by offering multiple product categories through a single provider. This is a strategic new business role where the typical sales cycle length is 3 to 6 months selling 2 – 5 year contracts equating to hundreds of thousands of pounds. The Corporate Business Development Manager owns their own diary and has free reign to prospect business across the country, when not meeting with clients face to face you will be working from home and will be part of a team of circa 9 other sales professionals.

Key Requirements

  • Willingness to travel nationally
The Package
  • £55,000 salary
  • Uncapped commission – £30,000 achievable in first year
  • £500/month car allowance
