A leading relationship bank in London is looking for a candidate to manage complex corporate customer relationships. The role involves maintaining a corporate customer portfolio, driving growth, and supporting credit analysis. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in large corporate banking, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of market trends. Handelsbanken's Large Corporates UK team works with UK-headquartered FTSE-listed customers spanning both trading and real estate. The post holder will be responsible for the maintenance and development of a corporate customer portfolio, managing complex customer relationships, driving growth through focused business development activities, credit structuring, and capital market strategies. The post holder will also be expected to manage assignment cases from other respective Large Corporate units in the group such as New York and Stockholm.
They will be responsible for the winning and on-boarding of new customers via proactive and focused business development activities. They will be expected to have relationships with the relevant debt advisors and other professionals operating in the large corporate market and meet with these frequently. The post holder will support and assist the Large Corporate credit analysts with the preparation of credit applications, balance sheet analysis, annual reviews, monitoring of accounts, covenant compliance, profitability and ensuring our customers have full knowledge of the Bank's banking services pertaining to the large corporate market. As such they will also be expected to have relationships with internal departments such as Fixed Income and Debt Capital Markets teams. The post holder will be expected to have a thorough understanding of LMA documentation and be able to make commercial decisions in conjunction with LTM where required.
