Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking an Operations professional in Asset Servicing to oversee day-to-day processing and risk management of voluntary corporate action instructions across EMEA. You will execute client and firm elections, ensure accurate instruction into local markets, and maintain controls to mitigate risk.

The role requires strong technical expertise, sound judgment under tight market deadlines, and collaboration with global partners and client service teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Asset Servicing experience, with exposure to voluntary corporate actions.
• Understanding of corporate action lifecycles and market practices.
• Proven ability to operate in a high-risk, time-critical environment.
• Analytical skills with attention to detail and sound risk judgment.
• Clear and effective communicator with stakeholders across the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Process voluntary corporate action elections across equity and fixed income products, ensuring accuracy and deadlines.
• Create and validate announcement information and instruct client and firm elections into CREST/Euroclear.
• Reconcile and distribute entitlements, investigating and resolving exceptions.
• Manage operational risk by identifying issues, escalating appropriately, and applying controls.
• Partner with client service, technology, legal, and global operations teams to resolve complex events.
• Support process improvements and control enhancements to reduce risk and increase scalability.
