Management Accountant London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

In a fast-paced technology organization, this role works closely with the business and senior finance stakeholders to support the development of financial forecasts. It is responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and transparent reporting and interpretation of financial results to support effective decision-making. The role also involves providing clear and concise analysis of actual and forecasted results for projects, assisting senior finance leaders in driving actions to meet financial targets. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with the senior finance team to provide analysis enabling effective business decisions.
  • Assist in developing forecasts, measuring & reporting on progress across cash, P&L, and balance sheet.
  • Prepare historic analysis by project, including month-end results, KPIs, and comparisons to forecasts/budgets.
  • Manage 2 direct reports.
  • Conduct area reviews for projects, working with operations to ensure accurate reporting, scrutinize financial results, and challenge the business.

Who you are:

This role suits a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused individual.

Key Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified.
  • Experience in a business-facing finance role.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other ERP systems.
