Job summary

Neo4j is seeking an experienced backend engineer to join the Kernel team and tackle advanced CS problems. You will work on the core graph database components, delivering high-quality code and testing rigorously in a collaborative environment.

You will be part of an international team based in Malmö and London, contributing to storage engines, transaction handling, indexes, data import, and page cache to power the core of the database.

Qualifications

• Experience designing multi-threaded systems and algorithms.
• Deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in Java or a C-style programming language.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of performance profiling and optimisation.
• Experience leading and delivering development projects.
