A healthcare organization in Crawley is seeking a GP to join their Core GP Team. The ideal candidate will provide clinical supervision, triage services, and work closely with refugees and asylum seekers. Responsibilities include managing health inquiries, collaborating with healthcare teams, and participating in community support efforts. Flexible hours are available with a focus on working remotely and face-to-face. Strong experience in primary care and a commitment to underserved populations are essential for success in this role.
Thepost holder will act as a GP working within ABCs Core GP Team that spans theRemote and Refugee and Asylum Seeker services.
Our CoreGPs are at the root of all clinical activity within ABC, working seven days aweek supervising, supporting and running our often-evolving central services. Thisteam, running alongside our operational and non-medical prescriber teams,allows us to set up services safely, efficiently and quickly and it is theknowledge, experience, energy and passion of our Core GPs that allows us to do this.Agility is at the heart of this role.
Hours of work: 08:00-20:00 on a specific day (current availability is Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
Tenure: Flexible - Zero Hour Contract with potential for Fixed Term Contract to 31st March 2027
Base: A mixture of face-to-face and remote working. Depending on the weekly rotation, this role requires regular travel to asylum seeker accommodation and community settings across Surrey and Sussex, as well as ABC offices at Crawley and Horley.
Clinical Supervision
As part of ABCs commitment to developing ourclinical workforce, all our Core GPs must complete their Clinical Supervisortraining. Triage to and supervision of our various HCP and NMP teams is anintegral part of this role, as is leading various internal and externalmulti-disciplinary team meetings.
