Job summary

Cameron Kennedy is seeking a hands-on Core Banking Platform Engineer in London to own the stability and performance of Oracle FLEXCUBE, ERP, FCCM, and related systems. You will manage end-of-day batches, monitor health, and support deployments with external vendors.

Required are 3+ years in core banking platforms, Linux/AIX administration, and Oracle WebLogic/DB expertise. The role demands calm under pressure during night processing windows and a UK work eligibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting Oracle FLEXCUBE or a similar core banking platform
• Hands-on Linux (RHEL) and/or AIX administration
• Oracle Database and SQL Server support experience
• Oracle WebLogic administration
• SQL, PL/SQL and shell scripting
• Calm under pressure during live incidents and overnight processing windows

Responsibilities

• Own daily EOD and overnight batch execution and resolve failures
• Investigate and fix batch failures, performance issues and reconciliation exceptions
• Monitor application health, support deployments/upgrades, liaise with Oracle Support
• Administer databases, middleware and runbooks, participate in DR exercises
