TMP268 is seeking a Copywriter (Social) to turn brilliant ideas into copy that stops scrollers and engages audiences across social channels.
You'll craft scroll-stopping hooks, captions and headlines, while bringing the Armed Forces brand voice to life. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to shape concepts from brief to delivery and explore broader creative work beyond social.
You're reading this ad, so you're ready to outthink. To take your skills, knowledge and experience beyond what you thought possible. And TMP268 is the place to do it.
TMP268 is a creatively strategic marketing agency, home to the Armed Forces Recruitment Service. Protecting the nation begins here.
And what does that mean for you? It means new challenges to rise to. Being encouraged and empowered to outthink at every opportunity. It means creating industry-first solutions, harnessing emerging tech, and realising AI's potential to create human connection. It means feeling valued for everything you bring. And work you can be proud to call your own, whatever your role.
As a Copywriter (Social), you'll help turn brilliant ideas into copy that people actually want to stop and engage with.
You'll be responsible for bringing the Armed Forces brand voice to life across social, creating everything from scroll-stopping hooks, captions and headlines to campaign messaging and longer-form copy. You'll have a great feel for what makes social content work, while knowing when to follow a cultural moment and when to confidently do something different.
Working closely with our Creative Team, including Copywriters, Social Creatives, Community Managers, Designers and Strategists, you'll shape ideas from the initial brief through to delivery. And while social is at the heart of the role, you'll also get involved in a broad range of creative work including scripts, emails, concepts, presentations, straplines and campaign copy.
This is a role for someone who loves words, has plenty of ideas and isn't afraid to share them. Someone who can think quickly, write brilliantly and bring a fresh perspective to every brief.
You'll write engaging, on-brand copy across social, campaigns, OOH, web and email, creating memorable headlines, captions, hooks and messaging that work for different audiences and platforms.
You'll turn strategy into simple, effective copy and develop socially native ideas that feel culturally relevant without simply chasing whatever happens to be trending. You'll bring fresh ideas to the table, not just beautifully polished words, and help shape creative concepts alongside our wider team.
We're looking for a creative thinker who genuinely loves writing and understands what makes social content feel real, relevant and worth engaging with. A strong portfolio will show your creative thinking and written craft for brands across social, alongside experience of working collaboratively with creative teams to solve briefs.
The ability to move naturally between different audiences, platforms and formats, while keeping a consistent and distinctive brand voice, will be key.
Collaboration is a big part of life at TMP268, so a flexible and positive approach really matters. We're looking for someone who can manage competing demands, communicate clearly, listen to others and take pride in producing high-quality work, while having the confidence to bring a strong creative point of view.
