Role Overview
We now have a great opportunity for a Coordinator - Major Works Projects to join our Projects Team, on a permanent basis. Based out of our office in Greenham, you'll combine a mix of home and office working to ensure a positive work / life balance.
Responsibilities
The role includes:
- Supporting the successful delivery of planned maintenance, refurbishment, and retrofit programmes across the organisation's housing portfolio.
- Working closely with the Project Managers and the wider delivery team to ensure that projects are well organised, information is accurate and accessible, and communication with contractors, residents, and internal teams is clear and timely.
- Ensuring that service delivery is consistent, efficient, and aligned with agreed timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
- Assisting in performance monitoring, financial tracking, and data reporting activities, contributing to the smooth and successful delivery of key investment projects.
- Supporting the planning and mobilisation of planned maintenance and retrofit programmes.
- Helping organise and track project documentation, appointments, and milestones.
- Maintaining accurate records of project status and updating relevant systems as needed.
- Coordinating communication with residents, contractors, and internal teams to ensure awareness of project schedules and access requirements.
- Drafting letters, notices, and other resident communications to support project updates.
- Monitoring contractor spend against budget and ensuring relevant documentation is in place.
- Processing contractor invoices and liaising with finance teams to ensure timely payments.
- Recording feedback and supporting the collation of resident satisfaction data post‑completion.
Qualifications
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel, and Word).
- Ability to work well in a team and support senior colleagues.
- Experience in a customer‑focused role.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of personal development.
