Job Overview

Verity Healthcare Limited is a domiciliary care company dedicated to supporting service users in their own homes. We partner with local authorities, the NHS, CCGs, private hospitals and private clients to offer a comprehensive range of care services that help maintain independence.

We are currently seeking passionate and caring healthcare assistants to join our team of domiciliary carers. Positions are available on full‑time, part‑time and contract basis:

  • Full‑time contract – 45 hours per week – salary £12.95–£13.10 per hour.
  • Part‑time contract – 25 hours per week – hourly pay £12.95–£13.10.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients with a wide range of needs, illnesses and disabilities.
  • Assist clients with toileting, continence management and personal hygiene.
  • Help clients get up in the morning and go to bed at night.
  • Support medication administration in accordance with the Medication Care Needs Assessment.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of care, medication support and tasks undertaken.
  • Prepare food and drink respecting clients’ likes, dislikes, nutritional and cultural requirements.
  • Perform light domestic duties, including housekeeping, laundry and household chores as outlined in the care plan.
  • Observe all health & safety rules and promote a safe environment for self and others.
  • Carry out any other duties within the scope of the post as requested by senior management.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Proficient in assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting and grooming while safeguarding dignity and privacy.
  • Experience in safe medication administration and monitoring health conditions, following care plans.
  • Training in the use of hoists, mobility aids and transferring techniques to prevent injury.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – building trusting relationships through active listening, empathy and clear communication.
  • Accurate record‑keeping and confidentiality adherence at all times.
