Job summary

Wessex ME is seeking an experienced Works Co-ordinator to join our team at our satellite office in Melksham. You will coordinate repair calls, planned works orders and engineers, ensuring deadlines are met and customer service standards are maintained.

You will keep customers updated during the service process and manage documentation and communications. Salary is £27,976 per annum for 40 hours per week, with benefits including 25 days holiday, BUPA medical insurance, accident and sickness

Responsibilities

  • To coordinate repair calls, planned works orders and engineers ensuring deadlines are met and customer service standards are met at all times.
  • To ensure all appointments are made with clients and that engineers have full working schedules.
  • To ensure appointments are booked for the relevantly skilled engineer for the correct job, ensuring materials and access information are prepared.
  • To update customers during the service process via spreadsheets portals and email.
  • To check paperwork generated by jobs and chase outstanding items before close down.
  • To answer department telephones and take messages as needed.

Job description

Wessex ME is based in North Dorset and is part of the Andwis technical services Group of companies. Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Works Co-ordinator to join the team at our satellite office in Melksham.

Main Duties & responsibilities:
  • To coordinate repair calls, planned works orders and engineers ensuring that deadlines are met and that customer service standards are met at all times.
  • To ensure all appointments are made with the clients and that engineers have full working schedules.
  • To ensure appointments are booked for the relevantly skilled engineer for the correct job, making sure everything they need to carry out the works is available (materials, access information)
  • To update customers during the service process to ensure that they are kept up to date with the progress of the work, this will include spreadsheets portals and email communication.
  • To check the paperwork that is generated by the jobs and ensure that any outstanding paperwork is chased before the job is closed down.
  • To answer the department telephones in a timely manner and take messages when necessary for other members of staff.
