Overview

Role summary
The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Thursday 08.00 to 16.00, Friday 08.00 to 15.30. Dykebar Hospital requires a Coordinating Supervisor to manage a team of Multi Skilled Technicians, Maintenance Assistants and a variety of specialised contractors on a day-to-day basis as part of the team to carry out reactive and preventative maintenance within the hospital buildings. The post holder must be a time served tradesperson qualified to HNC level.
Responsibilities
- Provide site responsibility for estates management issues in and outwith normal working hours as part of a 24/7 maintenance team.
- Carry out operational maintenance and emergency response for all building services (electrical, mechanical and building fabric) within the Hospital Campus.
- Work on HV/LV, MGPS, ventilation and water systems, all managed and controlled under formal safe systems of work as per operational policy and procedure.
- Lead a team including Multi Skilled Technicians, Maintenance Assistants and various contractors to deliver reactive and preventative maintenance.
Qualifications
- Time served tradesperson qualified to HNC level.
- Experience in estates maintenance and supervision of maintenance teams and contractors.
- Knowledge of HV/LV, MGPS, ventilation and water systems and adherence to safe systems of work.
- Ability to work as part of a 24/7 maintenance operation and respond to emergencies as required.
