Job summary

Impact Food Group is recruiting a Cook Manager for a Prudhoe-area school. The role leads a kitchen team to deliver fresh, seasonal meals to pupils with hands-on management of daily operations.

Working Monday to Friday, 8am-2.30pm, 39 weeks per year, you’ll ensure high standards, stock planning, and compliance with hygiene rules. Ideal candidates will have kitchen management experience, a passion for quality school meals, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to food safety and teamwork.

School Location: New SChool, Prudhoe Area NE42

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 8am-2.30pm (30hours per week)

Working Weeks: 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days)

Pay Details: £22,859 per Annum

What will I be doing?

As a Cook Manager, you’ll lead a friendly kitchen team to deliver fresh, seasonal meals to students each day. This is a hands‑on management role, where you’ll oversee the kitchen, support your team, and ensure smooth service.
