The hours of work will be approximately 26.25 hours per week, and the post will be G03 PR 6 – 7 £15,621.45 -16,377.35 per annum. £13.47 – £13.69 per hour.

There is a disclosure requirement due to the nature of the work.

Responsibilities

• Organise, prepare and serve food at lunchtime for the students, staff and visitors of Ysgol Pencae.
• Provide on the job training for new cooks and colleagues.
• Cook the meals required, monitor portion control, food service, ordering, washing up and cleaning of kitchen and dining room.
• Be prepared to undergo appropriate training and development (sometimes outside normal working days/hours by prior arrangement) i.e. Intermediate Food Hygiene and Basic Nutrition.
• Associated clerical duties.

Due to the nature of the work, it will be necessary to obtain a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
