Overview

Trust has a great opportunity for an experienced Cook to join our team at Whitelaw Court, Dunfermline, Fife KY11 4SJ on a permanent part-time contract of 28 hours (average) per week.

We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu.

As a Cook your duties would involve menu planning, ordering, preparing ingredients and working alongside the catering assistant.

Responsibilities
  • Menu planning, ordering, preparing ingredients and working alongside the catering assistant.
  • Help keep the kitchen organized and running efficiently.
  • Follow food handling, sanitation, and food storage procedures.
Contract and Hours

28 hours average per week on a 2 week rolling rota:

  • Week 1 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9am - 6pm (1 hours unpaid lunch)
  • Week 2 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday 9am-6pm (1 hour unpaid lunch)

Requirements and Experience

You must be able in moving around the kitchen and adept in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques will be an advantage.

You will need to help ensure the kitchen complies with food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures.
