Do you believe in the power of food to bring comfort, connection, and care?

Aramark UK is proud to partner with a Christian charity in Bath (BA2 6EJ), dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, addiction, mental health challenges, and reintegration after the criminal justice system. We're looking for a passionate Cook to join our team and help provide nourishing, home-cooked meals in a calm, supportive, and purpose-driven environment.

This is more than a kitchen job. It's your opportunity to give back, enjoy a strong work/life balance, and take real pride in the impact of your work.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Preparing hot and cold meals for up to 28 residents each day, including breakfast, dinner, and dessert
  • Taking creative control of the menu - no fast-food pace, just the chance to focus on quality, comfort, and flavour
  • Leading and supporting catering assistants/KPs as needed
  • Serving meals in a canteen-style setting, engaging positively with residents and team members
  • Ensuring cleanliness and compliance with all health and food safety standards

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 2 years of previous cooking or catering experience
  • A relevant cookery qualification is ideal, but not essential
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 is desirable (can be completed through our training portal)
  • Someone who is strong-willed, compassionate, and open to working with people from all walks of life
  • A calm, empathetic individual who thrives in a purpose-led environment

What's In It for You:

  • £14.50 per hour + Double Pay on Bank Holidays + Overtime when applicable
  • Full-time hours: 5 days over 7 (shifts between 11:00am - 6:00pm), including some weekend work
  • Free meals while on duty and free onsite parking
  • Access to 100s of employee discounts via our benefits app (groceries, treats, and more)
  • Life assurance, pension contributions, and generous holiday entitlements
  • Ongoing training, apprenticeships, and clear internal progression opportunities
  • The chance to work with a team that values care, compassion, and community impact

This isn't just another kitchen job. This is a role where every meal served has purpose-and every day brings the reward of knowing you've helped someone in need.

If you're ready to cook with heart and purpose, apply now and tell us how you can make a difference.

All applications will be treated in strict confidence.
