Aurem Care is seeking a motivated cook to join our team in the UK. The role focuses on meal preparation, adherence to HACCP, and supporting staff with dietary requirements while delivering quality service to residents.

You will work in a busy kitchen, following menus, maintaining hygiene, and collaborating with care staff. Training and development opportunities are provided as part of our in-house learning platform.

Qualifications

• Must have previous cooking experience.
• Be able to follow and prioritise tasks and responsibilities.
• Proficiency in food preparation techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Great communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare special diet meals in accordance with instructions from the care staff.
• Ensure a high level of service for all meal times.
• Complete all documentation relating to HACCP.
• Report any defects to equipment to the Home Manager.
• Ensure good quality and portion control.
• Assist Head Chef with four weekly menu planning.
• Carry out ad hoc duties to meet service delivery for residents.
