Job Purpose: To be responsible for the efficient and effective operation in providing meals, snacks, and other catering services. To ensure the provision of an extensive multi-choice cash-cafeteria service in compliance with the School Health Promotion and Nutrition (Scotland) Act 2007 within a large catering establishment.

This will encompass direct control over, production, ordering and provisions and maintenance of stock levels. Smooth effective and efficient running of the catering services within the school including the supervision and training of a large team of staff employed on site. In addition to daily cash cafeteria services establishments will provide vending, ad hoc functions, catering events and the collection and banking of all Highland Council monies.

Requirements

Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate or similar qualification

Trained First Aider or willingness to undertake qualification

This position is classified as a regulated role. As such, an Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required depending on your nationality and recent residency history. Specifically, this check will be necessary if you do not meet both of the following criteria:
