Post Title: Cook 2 Location: Golspie High School Hours: 23 hours per week Duration: Permanent Salary: £13,866 - £14,252

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose:

  • To assist the cook in the preparation cooking and serving of all meals associated with the catering provision within the school.
  • Menu preparation and cooking methods will comply with the School Health Promotion and Nutrition (Scotland) Act 2007.
  • Assist in smooth and efficient running of a multi-choice cash-cafeteria Catering Service, encompassing the production of all food under the supervision of the Cook in Charge.

Requirements

This position is classified as a regulated role. As such, an Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required depending on your nationality and recent residency history. Specifically, this check will be necessary if you do not meet both of the following criteria:

  • You must be a national of the United Kingdom or one of the following countries: Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Hungary, Greece, France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, or Poland.
  • You must not have lived or worked in any country outside of the UK or those listed above for a period of three months or more, while aged 18 years or over, within the past five years.
