Job summary

Genting Casinos UK Ltd. is seeking an experienced commis chef/cook to join our kitchen team. You will assist with food preparation and ensure the kitchen operates smoothly, with key shifts on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays from 17:00. You will uphold high standards of hygiene and safety in line with COSHH and company policy.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work as part of a kitchen team.
• Experience with preparing, cooking and presenting food to company standards.
• Adherence to Health, Safety and Hygiene regulations including COSHH and food handling procedures.
• Ability to store food correctly and follow stock rotation procedures.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules per company policy.
• Maintain correct portion control and minimise wastage.
• Assist with stocktaking according to company policy.
• Keep storerooms well stocked and organised.

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you an experienced commis chef/cook looking for a new opportunity? Are you a great team player?

We have a vacancy for an experienced cook to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen by assisting with food preparation and the general upkeep of the kitchen. The key days for the role will be Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 17:00hrs

Key skills and responsibilities include:

• Assist with the maintenance and hygiene of all kitchen equipment.
• Prepare,cook and present all food to the required Company standards whilst adhering to approved recipes.
• Keep up to date and comply with Health, Safety and Hygiene regulations and Company Health & Safety policy including COSHH and food handling procedures.
• Ensure food is stored correctly and stock rotation procedures are followed at all times.
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules are adhered to according to company procedures.
• Be responsible for correct portion control, minimising wastage as appropriate.
• Assist with stocktaking according to company policy.
• Keeping the storerooms well stocked and organised.
