About the Role

Our catering supervisors play a vital role within our care homes. By ensuring our residents enjoy high-quality meals tailored to their needs, you will enhance every day for our residents. Like us, you will always want to do the best you can and constantly look for ways to improve.

Your duties will include:
  • Promote healthy nutrition and hydration
  • Provide food that meets residents' individual needs, and communicate with them to ensure they are catered for in the way they prefer
  • Conform to our policies and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment
  • Keep kitchens and dining areas clean, to meet the relevant legislation and company policy
  • Provide a high standard of service, promoting dignity, privacy and choice
About You

You're driven to provide consistently high-quality food and drink that meets required needs and preferences, drawing on your experience in the catering field. You're proactive in solving problems and motivating your team. You have a meticulous attention to detail in terms of cleanliness and quality. You're friendly, approachable and have excellent communication skills. You’re kind and caring with passion for people and great at making conversation with people from all walks of life.

Springfield Care Home is a beautiful care home in a fantastic location, within the heart of the local community. We offer residential and dementia care, as well as respite breaks. Our dining rooms and restaurants serve delicious and nutritionally balanced meals all prepared by our experienced chefs. Our activities programmes will be tailored to our residents from walking clubs, to round the world themed days, technology-based fun or baking.
