Overview

Leading the team in the smooth running of the kitchen operation. Following our main menu meal plans whilst offering residents a selection of alternatives. Ability to bake a variety of cakes & pastries for social events & our café, catering for a range dietary requirements. Managing stock control and adhering to food cost guidelines. Ensure compliance with both Food Safety and Health and Safety in the kitchen. Training, supervising, and developing a team to help them make the most of their potential.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team in day-to-day kitchen operations and ensure quality, safety and efficiency.
  • Bake a variety of cakes & pastries for social events & the café, accommodating dietary requirements.
  • Follow main menu meal plans and offer residents suitable alternatives.
  • Manage stock control and adhere to food cost guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health and Safety in the kitchen.
  • Train, supervise, and develop the team to maximise potential.
