Job summary

A healthcare service provider in Hull is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve meals for rehabilitation patients. The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 2 in Food Production and valid food hygiene qualifications. Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an experienced kitchen team as a Cook. The job involves preparing, cooking and serving a choice of suitable nutritional meals for up to 64 patients in a residential/enablement setting for patients aged 18 or over who are requiring a period of rehabilitation and long term support.

You will be expected to provide meals in line with patients specific dietary and health needs. The shifts run over a 7 day rota between the hours of 7am - 5pm.

Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore City Health Care Partnership would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role

Main duties of the job

To prepare, cook and serve a choice of suitable nutritional meals in a residential/Reablement setting for patients 18 or over who are requiring a period of rehabilitation.

Undertaking duties relating to the operation of a residential establishment, to work under the general supervision of a care leader.

Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 in Food Production/Nutrition or equivalent level of knowledge, skills and experience
