Overview

We have an opportunity available for a part-time weekend Cook to join the team at Ashwood Court Residential, Warrington, Cheshire WA3 2RB. Salary: £12.60 per hour. Hours: 16 weekly.

Responsibilities
  • Be the conductor of the kitchen, organising and controlling the efficient production of quality freshly prepared food, while meeting individual dietary requirements and staying within agreed budgets.
  • Review menus regularly with residents and incorporate their feedback to create appealing dishes.
  • Act as a cleanliness and hygiene champion, ensuring all practices align with legislation and organisational procedures.
  • Bring previous kitchen/catering experience to the role and contribute creativity and culinary expertise to the team.
Qualifications
  • Previous busy kitchen experience is essential; you must have food and hygiene skills.
  • On joining Making Space you will receive on-the-job training and may have the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
