A residential care home provider in Ballymena is looking for an experienced Cook for an immediate start. This permanent position offers £13.00 per hour for 4 days a week with alternating weekends. We are currently seeking an experienced Cook for an immediate start at a Residential Care Home based in Ballymena. This is a permanent position offering a rate of pay of £13.00 per hour, working 4 days per week with alternating weekends, 7.30am to 5.30pm.

Responsibilities

• Producing food in large quantities while maintaining quality, taste, and presentation.
• Following tailored recipes for specific needs (e.g. diabetic, low-sodium, pureed diets, allergies, religious preferences).
• Preparing and cooking meals in line with residents’ dietary requirements.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and cooking.
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
• NVQ Level 1 & 2 in Catering, Food Preparation or a related field.
