A leading healthcare provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a Cook for the Catering Department. This role involves preparing home made meals, maintaining hygiene standards, and working on a varied schedule including weekends. Full training will be provided, and qualifications in City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent are required. Proficiency in Welsh is desirable. The Catering Department at Bronglais Hospital is currently looking to recruit a Cook to join a large team of individuals within the department, to provide an effective and efficient cooking service. The successful candidate will play an integral role within the team, whilst ensuring that the food is prepared to the highest standard., This contract is to work various days in the week, on a six week rolling rota. You will be required to work weekends and to include Bank Holidays as and when required, for which an additional payment is made.
Full training will be provided within the department. Hours of work are between 07:00am - 20:00pm. Successful candidates will receive staff uniform.
Full training will be given, but the successful candidate will be required to hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or the equivalent. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
